「Coat of Many Colors」，意思是說一件衣服上面有很多種顏色。原來，Dolly Parton小時候，家裡沒有錢買新衣服，媽媽就會把很多各式各樣的碎布，縫成衣服孩子穿，Dolly Parton穿上衣服到學校時，常常會被其他同學們嘲笑，但Dolly Parton認為那是代表著母親的愛，所以再後來她創作了這首歌。
