｜Rainbow 、 Judas Priest｜

Deep Purple的吉他手Richie Blackmore1975年離開樂團，開創了新樂團Rainbow，以異國情調和中古歐洲歷史意象，展開獨特音樂魅力，然因樂手更替頻繁在1984年解散，許多膾炙人口的作品，至今仍被大眾喜愛。

另一金屬樂團Judas Preist成軍甚早(1969)，經過10年的摸索嘗試才找到自己的定位，被市場接受。這個樂團對後來的Heavy Metal發展影響很大，包括舞台裝扮和雙吉他的樂團編制。
